Inventory showroom

Overview

One key step in the Ford eCommerce journey introduces the Inventory Showroom. This displays dealer un-contracted stock for users to search, see full specification details and send this to a dealer nearby to support in sales. Each card in the Inventory Showroom represents a specification which is available in stock and could represent many vehicles of that specification at multiple dealers.

We need to create a brand new showroom page where users are able to easily scan/compare the information of each vehicle and budget search the results.

My Role

– EU UI Lead

I was responsible for the UI design from 2019, from the initial MVP which lunched in UK, DE, CH, FR, IT and ES in March 2020 to the current optimised design across EU markets. I have also developed the scalable component into our EU component library.

Owner service booking

Overview

Apart of the Ford Owners projects, we received a brief to redesign the Service Booking journey, which allows the customer to select the number of steps / information they wish to add to complete a service booking. So the design needs to be clean, simple and very easy to complete, regardless of which user journey the customer picks.

My Role

– EU Lead UI

I am responsible for the UI design with another designer in our EU team. The OSB modular is launched in July 2021.

Help Router Virtual Assistant and Live Chat interface

Overview

The ford of Europe platform consists of poor engagement and conversion rates. Our overarching goals by implementing a new experience is to provide users and visitors with 24/7 response times. The Virtual Assistant focuses on real-time scanning of the AskFord Knowledge base to provide instant real-time responses, allows end-users to immediately complete inquiries.

My Role

– EU Lead UI

Having led the initial work back in 2020. I was working closely with the Lead UX designer and the Chatbot is now live in the UK site and other EU countries. Click here to view.

Ford Global UX Guideline

The Ford of Europe GUX was implemented across all EU market from 2017. It is part of a global initiative to establish the same UX principles across all Ford website. I was responsible for documenting the GUX guideline which provides information about design, asset creation, technical specs and authoring.
