Buy Fonts Save Lives
I was leading the responsive website design for Buy Fonts Save Lives in 2016, which sells typefaces to raise money to support Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.
A new fundraising project developed by Haymarket Creative Director Paul Harpin. It was inspired by the untimely death of Paul’s niece Laura, aged just 26, for whom Paul spent 14 months developing a new typeface family to sell in her memory.
Other type designers and experts are lending their skills to help raise funds, and Lord Heseltine has kindly donated the ‘Heseltine’ font, which was originally commissioned by Haymarket as a gift for his 75th birthday and created by Paul Hickson and his wife Patrica.
